High-brightness red indicator LED in the 0603 footprint with dome lens (1.6 × 0.8 × 0.8mm). The dome profile delivers 1200–2000mcd — 5 to 10× the output of a standard flat-lens 0603 at the same 20mA drive current — while producing a wide emission cone for panel indicators viewed at oblique angles. Designed to mate with drilled panel openings for a clean, bezel-flush appearance on finished equipment front panels. Red emission at 618–625nm. Operating temperature −40°C to +85°C.

High-brightness dome LEDs expose bin variation more than low-output flat indicators — their elevated intensity makes color and brightness differences visible at greater distances and wider viewing angles. CMH's single-factory supply of the S0603DM2 series holds both the intensity bin (1200–2000mcd) and dome geometry consistent across orders, ensuring panels populated across multiple production runs appear uniform.
