Blue side-emitting LED in the 1606 footprint (1.7 × 1.1 × 0.6mm). Lateral emission from the 1.1mm package face for edge-injection into light guides and membrane backlight assemblies. Blue light guides provide high contrast from standard red/green indicator systems and are widely specified for power-state and identification lighting in modern equipment. Output 70–150mcd at 20mA, optimized for aperture coupling. Operating temperature −40°C to +85°C.
