Light green side-emitting LED in the 1606 package (1.6 × 0.6mm). The 1606 side-emitting format emits light parallel to the PCB surface rather than normal to it, making it the standard choice for light pipe coupling applications where a PCB-mounted LED must inject light into a through-panel pipe. The 1606 body profile is narrow enough (0.6mm height) to fit under most panel-mount light pipe receivers without clearance issues.
