Dual-color bi-chromatic SMD LED in the 1615 footprint (1.6 × 1.5 × 0.6mm) with independent red and yellow-green dies. Each die is driven separately, producing three visible states from two drive lines: red alone, yellow-green alone, or simultaneous drive for a blended amber. Red + yellow-green is the most common bi-color combination for fault/normal indication. Vf 1.8–2.6V. IV 100–150mcd per die. M marking indicates cathode positions — verify pinout from datasheet. Operating temperature −40°C to +85°C.
Detailed electrical and optical characteristics
Bi-color indicators require color consistency both within each package and across packages in an array. A red die from one batch paired with a yellow-green die from another produces a different blended appearance than intended. CMH sources both dies in these bi-color packages from the same controlled production run, maintaining consistent individual and blended output across the full order and across replacement orders.
Dual-die bi-color. M marking indicates cathode positions — verify pinout before PCB layout. Per-die wavelength to be confirmed from datasheet.
