Red mid-power indicator LED in the 3528 package (3.5 × 2.8 × 1.75mm). Delivers 400–600mcd at 20mA — substantially higher than standard 0603 or 0805 flat-lens indicators — for reliable visibility in high-ambient-light industrial and outdoor environments. Red emission at 620–630nm. Used in panel indicators, outdoor equipment, and high-contrast display applications where competing ambient light requires elevated LED output. Reflow solderable. Operating temperature −40°C to +85°C.
Detailed electrical and optical characteristics
At higher luminous intensity levels, bin variation is more perceptible — a 20% output spread that is unnoticeable in dim conditions is plainly visible in high-ambient environments where contrast sensitivity is elevated. CMH's controlled production of the 3528 series holds the 400–600mcd output range tightly, maintaining the high-contrast visibility the application requires across all production batches.
