Low-profile LEDs with emission parallel to the PCB surface, designed for light pipe coupling and membrane backlight applications. The 1606 (1.6 × 0.6mm) package is the industry standard for efficient coupling into 2–3mm diameter light pipes and edge-lit membrane assemblies.
